O.K., fellas does anyone else find it interesting that every auto maker offered a Business Coupe?,and second question, how long did the auto manufacturers, turn out Bizz Coupes?? But IMHO. The Dodge offering, had it's competitors beat, tough to beat the front end, sexy lines and the bright work on this auto. http://butte.craigslist.org/cto/4813073806.html

Last Business coupes I remember were around 1957, specifically thinking of the Chevrolet 150 base full size model line, designwise they were a two door sedan though.

AHHHH, If I waz only ten yearz younger. That little puppy iz just screamin' out for ah /6 with ah 4 on the floor behind it and 3 side draft weberz hangin' off the side with Dutra Duals under 'um. What dah yeah think guyz, Plum Crazy or Turbine Bronze sittin' on cop wheelz with holy cop moonz?

A Business Coupe is defined as a coupe body with NO rear seat, just a flat surface for cargo and such in place of the rear seat. Keep in mind, if you see a rear seat in a coupe, it is not a business coupe.

Here is a '39 Hudson coupe, which happens to be MY favorite '39!

Looks like the ole dodge gets around pretty good for not having an engine.

The perfect date night car...

My old '37 Terraplane Model 71 Brougham had a front seat that would recline quite a ways, to make a pretty decent bed. A buddy in high school bought a '59 Studebaker Lark in 1976. He soon discovered that if he drove that to a girl's house and expected to take her out, her Daddy would normally say "no"! He had no idea why suddenly he was so unpopular amongst the various Dads he encountered, until one of them pointed out that the front seat laid flat to make a bed from the dash to the back of the back seat! My friend had no idea it would do that (or so he claimed!). So, if he wanted to go on a car date with a girl, he ended up driving his dad's '69 Imperial...which has a MUCH bigger back seat, but didn't have a front seat that laid flat, like his Stude!

I remember the Nash Airflytes being notorious for that Feature.

Oh, yeah, any postwar Nash, along with the later Rambler, pretty much guaranteed a night of fun on date night! Boring cars to drive, but a lot of fun at the drive-in or the submarine races!
