I AM SELLING MY ULTRA RARE, 2 OWNER 17,000 ORIGINAL 1942 CHRYSLER C-36N NEW YORKER DELUXE SEDAN. THE MUSEUM QUALITY BEAUTY RESTED IN SLUMBER FROM 1945 TO 1990 WHEN DISCOVERED IN ATLANTA. IT WAS IN THE ORIGINAL OWNERS ESTATE AFTER HIS PASSING. THIS HAS TO BE THE BEST UNRESTORED, LOW MILEAGE 1942 CHRYSLER ON THE PLANET.
MY PASSION FOR THIS CAR AND IT'S CARE HAS LASTED 24 YRS. ALL MECHANICAL PARTS ARE NEW OR REBUILT. ALL WIRING REPLACED, NOS TIRES 760X15 WWW INSTALLED IN 2004, BRAKES NEW. ALL ELECTRIC ITEMS NEW OR REBUILT.
THE INTERIOR IS NEAR PERFECT AND MINT. ALL PLASTIC MINT INC. STEERING WHEEL. NEW CARPET. ALL GAGES WORK AND RADIO.CLOCK REBUILT. ALL LIGHTS HALOGEN REPLACED FOR NIGHT DRIVING. ORIGINAL SPARE IN TRUNK NEVER ON THE GROUND.
ALL ORIGINAL PAPERWORK INC. DEALER ORDER IN SEPT 1941 INCLUDED. MANUALS AND SALES BROCHURES, OWNER'S MANUAL AND ALL EXPENDITURES INC.
CAR HAS BEE IN COLLECTABLE AUTOMOBILES TWICE AS CENTERFOLD! IF YOU WANT THE BEST AT A REASONABLE PRICE, LOOK NO FURTHER.

That Ny'er could be in a museum.....but I would use it as a fair weather driver.
 
Ad's a bit sketchy about what has been touched, the engine compartment all in all looks way too clean, that's more than an engine detailing, rechrome and wiring job, the paint is near unbelievably well preserved to be original plus other details. To me this does not meet the term unrestored original. New carpet, halogen lights, does thse deviations from stock really have to be with such a car ?

I would have left it 100 % as recovered except for things needed to have it operable.

Try finding another one those in that condition....
 
I would have liked to find it while it was still stored with the first owner; these alterations would make it a good portion less desirable if I were in the market. This used to be a genuine time capsule.

I agree. The term unrestored does not apply here.
