Love chopped 2 doors, really like that stock 4 door... but 10k seems like too much for one in that condition... IDK, I don't track values and I'm not a player for one of these.

Very nice but not particularly significant or distinguished enough from a million other classics for sale out there to intercept a C-body forum.

Way too high on the price, but some fool might pay it. I found a local 2 door a few years back in similar condition, minus a little paint, that my grandpa bought for $5K. I'm not a fan of the 4 door but I have seen a few cut just right to where they looked good.

I like it. Flathead still in place. Looks pretty solid, great patina. Just add a set of WWW's and go crusing. One of the 4 door's that hits the mark.

Market value would be closer to the 6/8K mark.

I think quite the opposite, the '49-'51 Mercury stands out from all the other brand X cars, right proportions, nice body shape, much like the 1950 Hudson.

It maybe a Chevy in the background, although I like the '57, the tires and wheels on the car along with the typically annoying habit of posting pictures sideways give me some insight into the seller.
