If it will fit in USPS large flat rate box with some disassembly, that is the way to go.

The last cast iron manifold I tried to ship in a fixed rate "game box" with as much card board padding as I could stuff in, got broke in half by the time it got to the east coast and it cost me significantly by the time I refunded the buyer. No, this is too big anyway to ship in one of those fixed rate boxes.
