Has been covered. Odometer shows 28,991. Consignor states that the Hemi motor runs. Frame looks good as does body overall. Some rust through of course but a viable project. A rare and beautiful car. Vin is C5727923. Clean title. Purportedly owned by Mickey Mantle but we don't have any hard evidence of this. Has title. Prebidding is on now. We will run this auction live and online on Dec. 4 at Noon EST. We'll start at the first lot and work sequentially. Bid live or come to Huntington, WV to bid in person. 15 percent buyer's premium online, 10 percent in person. Payment by cash, bank check, ACH or wire transfer only. No personal, business checks or credit cards. Payment required by 5 pm on Dec. 6. Cars may be removed once payment is made. Our consignor will then mail you a completed title if one is available. All sales final.

Purportedly owned by Mickey Mantle. Wonder if Mickey's balls are still in the car? Come on baseballs of course.

I tried googling it and only came up with one reference of him driving a 1948 Plymouth Special Deluxe but no Imperial.
