What a beautiful beast of a car, I would put some modern brakes on it and just keep it as is that would be so cool driving in the back of that.

I love the LeBaron smaller rear window and its silver interior but suspecting a total drivetrain rebuild the price is too high.

Certainly would get attention driving down the road.

And yes on the comment about needing work.

Ad said it's been parked since '82, so if the engine cranks at all, it would be a miracle.

They don't get anymore original than that one. Beautiful car from what we can see.

I would love to see this one out in the daylight!

There are typical C-listers who rinse it as well judging by the countless pics with garden hoses. ;)

I told Floyd I'd pull the wall down behind it in 'bout half hour if he'd get all them 5 gallon jugz out the front of it. Then we could ease the 9N up agin' it and nudge it on out ah there. He said why bother when we can find some idget yankie tah do it for us.

Not sure if you got the accent quite right, but the sentiment is probably right on. :)

If anyone wants me to check it out or take more pics, its 30 miles one way for me and I am willing to do it.

Ok, I've heard about him. He has a huge boneyard of stuff, if I remember.

Is he into the larger cars? I thought he focused on B and E bodies.

I got some email back from the seller.

He had a few more pics...nothing great. There is a big scratch, down to the primer or metal, on the passenger side tail fine.

And today got more news, the engine is seized. He said the car was supposed to have had oil in the cylinders when it was stored, but had a guy come by who tried to turn it over (by hand I assume) and no-go. It won't budge.

Doesn't surprise me. After 30+ years, any engine is likely to be stuck somewhere (probably rings rusted tight to cylinder wall) if it's not run once in a while.

I didn't tell him to put some 50/50 ATF and acetone in it, but who knows? Might do the trick.
