Man that is nice! Too bad it's a 4-door but the fact that its a hdtp is a big plus. Probably not many of those left that solid and I'd be proud to have it in my garage!

it's 1/2 hour from me.........were it a 2 door, I'd already own it. I need to start hating convertibles like 70FuselageImperial! Production is 1,958 according to what I have.

What?... No way, maybe late 1959.... :poke:

There is a nice looking '57 Fireflite on Ebay right now, that does not look horridly overpriced.

For a comparison, this one from the west coast sold for $41,000 a few years back...

Now wait just one damn minute, I don't HATE verts.

You don't? Well, it seems like you do, you do not seem to have much use for them.

I should have prefaced this by saying that there are 2 on this board who have converti-sickness, myself and someone else who shall remain nameless, so maybe we are just a bit over the top. For instance, this car could be had for $5500, but instead I'll lust after a ragtop of the same that would easily cost at least 3x that in the same condition.

so maybe it's not you hating verts, but us rather hating cars with solid roofs.

Mark, that was a joke because the production # was one digit from a possible production year...

Correct, I don't....but that doesn't mean I "hate" them.

With these models I wouldn*t care about the body style. They all look pretty sleek.
