It was running but it needed a windshield and brakes so I parked it because I was going to fix it up someday.
So I left it out to rot and now it's of no value to anyone to fix up.

I don't get it I've seen lots of cars on here ,There left to rot does nobody give a monkeys in America about there classics ,or There history ,there's so many great cars there but there either to far gone or there parted out ,Thank god for Europe where some of them end up and can be saved PS" Wither the exception of the guys on the forum of course

Will make some one very happy to pick the rust free front fenders from that carcas. Those brows usually rust out like crazy!

Show up with 300 and a trailer with a good wench since the brakes are frozen.

It is not just cars. One can go around the Sacramento Delta and see plenty of boats bought to be worked on and then left to rot. State ends up paying the bill to haul it away after it has sat for way too many years.

Case in point today. There is a tug boat sitting just behind the USS Hornet. Given to the ship years ago and then sold to a buyer in his late 30's. Worked for Amtrak in maintenance and so was well versed in engines. He got it up and running and a few times went along with us to the Reserve Fleet to harvest parts for the tug. One could see it out on the Bay during Fleet Week and other occasions. Anyway he sold it 2 years ago and found another closer to him in Vallejo.

After the new buyer bought it he was doing something on the tug and the pilot house caught fire. It has now sat behind the Hornet for the last two years and the owner hasn't been seen since that fire. Outwardly the tug and mechanicals are in fine shape or were since no care lately.
