Price iz up there yes, but you can't build one for that. Trust me when I say this. Been there done that

Haven't seen much of you on the posts I've looked at lately... Good to see you Jer. I like this one, but too many digits... beer budget, champagne taste issue I suppose. Besides, I would have to park it in the living room... or build that accessory garage I've been wanting. Oops, budget again.

HI-HO Catnip. I waz thinkin' 'bout the Batwagon when Snooty posted the pic of the '60 Long Roof. 22 yearz it took me to bring the '61 beast back to the way it iz now and then 8 more driving it with a frozen grin on my face..........Life iz good, Thankz for the post Snooty, Jer

One of the most beautiful wagons ever made. Virgil Exner was a genius and Chrysler was definetly at the top of their game during this period. Ford and GM were never willing to take quite that same risks in their designs or allow their design department to go wild the way Chrysler did.
Chrysler was building dream cars of the future.
GM tried to ape Exners designs though in 59,but most came off heavy handed, except the 59 buick, and by then it was too late as the "Jetsons era" of design was soon to end.
I wish the Forward Look could have lasted longer. When it ended Chrysler seemed to stumble blindly for a while trying to find a new direction. It seemed to take them until about 1967 to find it.
