A huge debate on these diesel taxis many years ago (Moparts??).

The Perkins is not the noisiest Diesel, not by a long shot. The Perkins T354.6 Diesel I had in my old '71 IH TravelAll wagon was amazingly quiet, much more so than either my '93 or '96 Dodge Cummins trucks were.
