Now here is a car you won't see every day -

Body is straight. The car needs some cosmetic cleanup here and there, I simply don't have time, and also it has a bit of rust that will eventually need attention. It runs great - slant six, three speed _with overdrive_ , weber 2-barrel and a custom exhaust (great mileage). It's a cool car, fun to drive and a real eye catcher it just simply needs some cleanup.

I have a bunch of extra parts too - chrome trim, two complete doors, three speed transmission (maybe two?), dashboard parts including at least one speedometer, extra bumper(s), complete spare rear end with leaf springs, chrome tail lights, etc. although many of those things are in storage about 4 hours away from the Bay Area - I would be glad to go get them and include them in the deal for no extra charge but you'd need to give me some money for the car first before I go round up all the extras.

I have the title here in hand in my name. The car is registered for another 11 months in California, mileage is unknown.

car is sold AS IS for $5300/obo - cash only - come get it and drive it home

The hood pins make me wonder "why?"... be kind of a neat car...

Gawd. I can't remember how many of those were the family car growing up in a blue collar middle class neighborhood.

Must be a flipper....doesn't know if it's a 2 or 3 speed txsm.

There was no overdrive trans back then.....I'm thinkin he may have hacked it up and put a manual 4 on the floor in it....I hope not though. But seeing those hood pins had me wondering.

Gone now. Guess we'll never know.

Yet more proof of how important grammar is...

Text from the ad was quoted above. He didn't seem to know if it was one or two transmissions as I read it... I can now see how the phrasing could go the other way. 6 cylinder, 3 on the tree would make a fun "something different" car... and 95% of the population wouldn't know how to drive it. A floor shifter would ruin some of that IMO. $1500 delivered, or maybe $2000 if the parts stash wasn't crap.
