For Sale: 1962 Chrysler New Yorker 4dr Hardtop, 75K miles - Project - $4,200 - Fredericksburg, VA
1962 chrysler new yorker for sale by owner - Fredericksburg, VA - craigslist
Seller's Description:
1962 Chrysler hardtop! Coral gray, 413-engine. Solex factory tinted glass. Pushbutton automatic. Has front disc brake conversion and dual reservoir master. Runs and drives, gauges work. Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock 1404 carb (and I just put brand new needle valves in, cleaned bowls and did float adjustment). New hoses and heater hose valve (Ranco heater valve will likely need to be rebuilt or replaced). Fresh oil change with zinc. New fuel filter, headlight switch, electroluminescent power pack. Lights and turn signals work. EL lighting comes on but then cuts off. Previous owner began installing a/c but did not finish. It only has the R-134 compressor and pulleys.
Solid car although front floor pans need some work (previous owner fastened new metal in place but it’s not welded or sealed). Frame solid. Paint is in need of touch ups and buffing, numerous dings and flaws. The paint looks better in the pictures. Only 2 out of 4 power windows work. Not sure what the other two need. Small (pipe flange?) exhaust leak up front near engine on passenger side (audible but not severe). odometer: 75,000
Correct 1962 413 engine block; history from previous owner:
0.030 over, 916 heads, Edelbrock intake. Comp extreme energy dual grind cam (lopes at idle), A-518 overdrive transmission, 10” converter. Clear open title. Also comes with a more factory stock type Mopar purple performance camshaft with very low miles
Contact: No phone listed.
