Kool piece, rock solid!

62' Imp looks "swell" in its 2dr hardtop form, I'll admit. I could do without the bullet lamps though. A very thin line of lights within the chromed face of the "u" shaped form would look fabulous IMO.

Then you're in for a 1963 model; like that year better as well.

Me thinkest you want the '63 then, tail lites on that one are about what you discribe? Too bad it's been cooking in the desert sun for 50 yearz. All new door seals and window rubber. And we don't even wanna talk about the dash, steering wheel, side panelz and the chairz. And speaking of chairz, the pic of the back seat with the water stain tellz me the back glass seal iz shot along with the headliner too. $5K planter anybody?

Ok so rock solid doesn't meen much, go find another! Somebody has been looking for one of those will be lucky to find one thats not rusted out.

Not like this....

I don't like the roofline on the 63 Imp 2drs compared to the 62 model.

This specific 62 is great. Only the wheels and tires need to be taken off. Leave it as it is and drive it. Looks fantastic.

I just realized why that roofline seemed foreign to me.
I've never seen a Coupe without the Crown....

O.K. Matt. So fix the A/C, change the wheelz and run it jes like it iz. Who'z gonna bad mouth ah 2door '62 Imp with acres of clean metal?

What's up with the "Z" silliness? Gotta ask...

As for the car, I like it minus the stainless roof. I can not remember seeing one without that. Much cleaner, overall. Wish the guy were in a trading mood.

I would hope it stays dry on its way Europe.
