Not mine. I'll leave judgement to others on the claimed mileage....my 2 cents, if that low why would engine and tranny need a rebuild? Some mods not to my liking but I'm not interested. If any one is serious I live about 40 minutes away and can put some "eyes" on it.

1963 Chrysler 300

Given that the mileage is so low, it's possible the engine was seized.

Looks like a lot of car for the money.
From the ad for posterity.

I really like the car... But it doesn't have a/c, I don't have room.... etc..

Add 100K well kept miles. Going by the modifications, it looks like it got into the hands of a Chevy guy who thinks, because it's rarer then a Camaro, is worth that much.

What happens when the car is sold? Well I'll tell you, the link is useless.

l like this car as well...reminds me of a buddy that had one when l was a teen....could never figure it out till last few years...guess it would explain his love for elvis to....

It does not freakin' matter than. Can't buy what is no longer for sale and on top of that, if it sold why keep bothering the previous seller with a link that some people may think is still active. That is just ignorant.

You really don't get it do you?

I certainly understand my statement. I'm guessing your reasoning is to look at the pictures and possibly gather info..... Like I said if the ad gets deleted it does not matter, because if the link was not posted in the first place you would never know about the car anyway. When I was looking for a car I inquired about a '93 IROC R/T, car had been sold for over a month and the previous owner was not pleased that I was "bothering" him. Which is a point I tried to make previously. If it sold and link is gone ....let it go. Move on. More cars for sale.

FCBO future

Hi my name is "new guy" and I just bought this real cool c body off Craiglist but there seems to be a lot wrong with it please help me...

The c body knowledge base replies...here is the thread where we discussed your car at length. See the nice pictures where we pointed out some of the problem areas. Please feel free to read over the thread and ask any questions

Your future

Ya posted a link about a car like that once might be the same too bad the link is dead and we have no info for you

Its a small community the more information that is acquired for posterity will help those going forward who may not know the car they just bought is known to us and WE can offer advice correctly. Post the entire ad or don't bother posting AFAIC

Cars for sale come up for sale again and again. We've been able to catch seller's bullshit because we had old posts to refer to.
Posts that showed all the information of the ad, that is.

If showing all the information of the ad in the post is too much aggravation, then the car probably wasn't worth posting to begin with.

And we are not Moparts.

And that information can still be given to the person if he asks WITHOUT the ad. Or with the ad. We can all answer questions about correctness(with knowledge) of a particular car. And even if the link is gone the information we provide is still there. And as far as post the whole ad or not at all, well if you ask me,and obviously you don't care, I think that is an ******* statement. If nobody wants to lift their "click" finger, not my problem. Don't effin' look at it and let those who want to do so. Freedom of choice right?

Hence the term "buyer beware". If you can't see or smell BS then you should not be looking at purchasing a car, especially an older one. Inform yourself BEFORE purchasing, not AFTER.

:BangHead:
But after the ad has been deleted by the seller, or it expires, or its flagged there's nothing left to click on so how are you even going to know what car the thread is about?
Here's an example for you.
The name of the thread I posted this link in was called "Impressive collection".
mopars chargers, superbee,roadrunner,cuda, 68 & 70 bench seats
Thankfully I posted the pics and the text from the ad because the thread will continue being a useful source of info and entertainment indefinitely.

Point taken to a .....point. Look at what my thread is titled.....tells exactly what the car is/was......whether the link is there or not.
