1963 Sport Fury ragtop, red/red, 383 auto. I know this car. It's a real beauty, and though I'm not a fan of so-called "patina", this wears its original paint well. Very cool car!

This car has been for sale for a few years that I know of. I'm sure it's a nice car but the asking price tells me it's NOT for sale.

$8K for this is pretty low - it's a ragtop, you'll notice. It's a nice, tight car. See that interior? That's $4K - $5K in and of itself to replace, and it doesn't need it. That doesn't include a top, BTW.

Yeah, $25K is high, but a seller has to start somewhere. You can go down, but you can't go up - though some try.

The price is waaaaaay unrealistic. I'd say, $5K-$8K tops.

Thats a little on the low side. Maybe a 65 Fury in that shape would go for that, but this is a B body. I'd put it in the $12-15K range.

I'm getting ready to list my 65 Coronet 500 convertible and thinking of ASKING $22500.00 for it ..... and it's a factory A/C car in drive anywhere condition.

Seriously, Will, I think this car could bring that at a big name auction.
If you have the stomach for it...

I did the big time auction thing once Stan. I sold an A12 Super Bee and although I made out pretty good it's just not worth the stress.
I don't think my asking price is to far out of line, it's negotiable and i'll concider trades with cash. I want to get serious with the 61 Fury, so something has to go.

Concur and your 65 def looks like ~ $22,500 all day long.

Is it a BB?

Concur Patrick. Did they clear coat over the original paint / patina or what? Says recently painted.

Very nice interior

Plymouth Sport Fury Convertible. This is a Golden Commando with a 383/330 HP Engine and a 4BBL carburator , air conditioning, automatic push button transmission, new seats, dual exhaust and Cragar Mags with new TA Radials ( I have the original wheels and hubcaps). There is no rust on this terrific car and it is newly painted . A new convertible top was recently added. This is a number matching car with a fresh engine. You'll like it!! Everything is there!!

It has been painted. It's been at a couple of local shows recently. Beauty! I forgot that he had painted it.

Nice, might as well toss up some pictures. I love the look of those Poly valve covers :)

The poly 318 really was a great engine. I've had several and all were reliable and economical.
This is my 65 just after detailing it. It has a few miles on it now, but still looks good.

He should show pics with the new paint .. unless I missed them in the ad. The interior and colors are a great combo

This looks like maybe new paint on the hood but needs better pics. Do you know him?

If the paint was done right then his asking price isn't that far off. Just needs the wheel covers and white walls now.

Yeah that's easily a $25K car .. he should post pictures showing the new paint and like you say lose the Cragers
