Hi folks! I'd like to introduce Lilly to the group. After a looooong saga of engine work the 413 is finally in the vehicle. Equipped with a roller cam and stock intake and carb I'm told it dynos at 425 hp without the exhaust manifolds. I just hope it idles normally and is reliable on tours. I'm adding the Auto-pilot to this and have every thing except the rod that connects the servo to the bellcrank on the firewall. I have one for an Imperial, but it is too long as it connects to the gas pedal for that application. 45 years ago I had a 63 New Yorker that I installed an Auto-pilot with the same issue though I cut the Imperial rod and spliced it together. Looked bad, but it worked. This time I'd rather have the real deal as the guy working on the car for me is unsure of the proper placement of the mounting brackets. On the 63 the fenders had dimples in the inner fender marking where the holes were to be drilled...not this one.
