That thing is spectacular!

Very nice! Gentlemen, for those of you wanting aftermarket wheels on an Imperial with the 5-on-5" bolt pattern, it's pretty hard to beat a set of Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels! I want these for the convertible!

It's not supposed to be that red, for crying out loud. You guys turn into puppy dogs when you see a red dress....

Sell Me Red.
Ask Carsten or Will how wrong that paint is.
I could accept it that outrageously overboard if it were say, Deep Blue, though.

that car is so nice it almost doesn't matter what color it is.

I'd say it's not, strictly speaking, "Sell Me Red."

I think that car has been on Craig's List for over a year in the $25k range. Those are new pictures (maybe a flip, for all I know), but it was being advertised by a guy who said in the ad that his job had been maintaining a fleet of collector cars for someone else, and this was his personal car that he built for himself.

I'm further guessing that, at that price, you're looking at a fairly small number of people who will pay that much money for an Imperial. Those people are more likely to want a factory color than the red. So it has turned out to be "no sale red."

But it is indeed a very, very nice car.
