These pics are for your entertainment or for your reference for making physical copies for the missing plastic insert on your 1964 New Yorker. These went missing early on in most regions. And because they are a single year and single model only emblem, from a year that does not get very much love, they have never been reproduced. 1963 and 1964 emblems are the only early Chrysler years not offered on Emblem Magic.

The last picture shows a bill of sale from 1969 showing a price of $2.59. This is a not what I paid (try multiplying by almost 20). At this point, originality is where the value is, but I really can't imagine just slapping it on my car and rollin to a show... So wouldn't it be nice if someone could make these for maybe under $150 ea? I have another NOS one, and I would still buy another couple for driving....

Regardless of the material in those emblems, you can go to a craft store and get a resin molding kit. You follow the directions and make a mold and then inject the resin into the mold. Then YOU have a plastic version you can paint as needed for details. That you can reproduce for your own use, too. That saves the existing items from "driving use".

Works for smaller light lenses, too.
