Hi folks, can't seem to find windshield or rear window gaskets for the '64 New Yorker by internet searches, any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a ton
Keldon

As far as I know there is no reproduction for 63/64 Chrysler rear window gasket.
I would not recommend universal gasket material.
Reusing your original or finding a used original are your options.
I have one on this 63 300,but I’m VERY busy at the moment.
Check back with me in few weeks if you don’t find one sooner.

Thanks Sarg, kinda what I suspected. I do have the opportunity when I remove the glass to save the seals, I'll see how it goes and get back to post the results.

@Keldon59 I have to do my windshield at some point, but let me know how your process goes since I haven't done this before either. I have the FSM, but any pics or barriers you come across would be helpful. Thanks!

G'day,
Many Years Ago I Worked Briefly for a Windscreen Specialist.
The Advice he Used to Give in Trying to Save an Old Windscreen Rubber was to Smother the Item with Glycerine.
Never Use Petroleum Based Lubricant as This will cause the Rubber to Swell.
Continually & Gently Massage Glycerine into the Rubbers Until They Soften Right Up.
Be Patient & Gentle. With a Little Work (or a Lot) the Rubbers Will Soften.
It's Not a Five Minute Thing.
All the Best!

P.S. If You Point Out to the Wife How Much This Will Soften Her Hands, You May Have a Volunteer@ LOL.

Thanks a ton Tony I will be looking into that for sure. I've also hear that wintergreen oil can be used for softening hardened rubber but that would be an expensive proposition though minty fresh for some time...heheh. I had a good chuckle at the p.s. : )

G'Day Again,
As with ALL Advice I Give Nowadays, I Suggest You Try a Small Piece of Scrap to See the Results!
Glycerine in the Mystical Land of OZ May Have Slightly Different Ingredients to You Fellas' Stuff.
Anything I'm Not Sure Of I Always Check FIRST!
Sadly, That's How I Learnt Many Years Ago NOT to Use Armourall on a Dashtop.
Kind Regards,
Tony.M
P.S.
I Also Remember using a Styptic Pencil to Fix the Shaving Cuts When I first Started Shaving.
"It Will Delight & Amaze You" Was the Advertising Scree!
Well it Certainly Amazed Me, It Stung Like a Nest Full of Wasps!
I've Now Had My Beard for Almost 58 Years! ( Mind You with a Face Like Mine a Beard is Good Idea)
Always Test a Small Area First! LOL
