Hello again!
Looking to get some spindles for my disc brake conversion, for my 1972 system.
1965-1972 all use the same spindle to my knowledge so those are the ones I'd prefer.

Correction:

What you would want is 1969 to early/mid 1972.

No disc brakes in 1965.

1966-'68 were Budd discs and used a completely different spindle.

Sometime during the 1972 model year they switched over to the larger diameter spindle, often referred to as the "1973" spindle.

All the above assumes that the parts you have already are indeed the early '72 stuff and not the later.

Interesting information, I thought it was all the same spindle from 65-72, and 73 was unique.
The system I got, to my knowledge, was from a 1972, according to the seller. I have the rotor (well, one, USPS seems to have lost the other one), prop valve, and the calipers.
I guess a way to check would be to look at the P/N on my rotor?

If it's an original Chrysler rotor, the early style will be two pieces where the hub can be separated from the disc. If it's the later style the hub and disc will be a single casting.

If it's a single casting replacement rotor, you can tell by measuring the diameter of the dust cap or the area where the dust cap pushes in.

That's an early rotor.

I may have a set of spindles that I can part with.

I'll take a look around as soon as I get a chance.

Have a set of spindels, in the for sale section if bigmoparjeff comes up empty.
