You gotta love a 4 door hdtp with a console! If only it had all power glass, it was a different paint color and was a '66/7 or 8....

He probably figures it is a 440, without verifying it. Obviously, the 440 was not available yet in '65.

Only on the 440.

"Then it shouldn't have a 440" "Obviously, the 440 was not available yet in '65"

I may be wrong but I remember something about the late year 65's getting a 440 because the factory ran out of 413s.

Never heard that one in 40 years.
I would need documentation.

They didn't run out of 413s till the late 70s. They kept using them in medium duty trucks and motor homes. 440s were cast in mid 65 but only went into 66 model year cars.

You guys are all missing the boat here... look at the workmanship as this ageing beauty is maintained in pristine original condition.

I could be mixing my "C" word cars up here. I tried looking for that info and didn't find it. I must have been thinking about the 65 Chevys loosing the 409 half way through. Anyways, this is a good looking car. 65 is one of my favorite years for Chrysler.
