I don't recall ever having seen buckets and a console on a 4 door. Curious to know if it's original. That said, I like it....well, other than maybe the color.

You could indeed get buckets and a console in a four-door Mopar in that time.

Looking at the door jambs, this was a paint code SS1 Cream originally. That taxicab yellow is brighter than the '66 Daffodil Yellow...a lot brighter!

A guy could put a carpet kit in it, redo the front seats, fix those goofy tailpipes, and put a set of period wheels on it, and have a pretty fair driver.

I'm half-tempted to see if he'd trade on the Dodge D100 I've got for sale. Something about this damn 300 is calling to me. Either that, or the voices in my head are screaming again. One or the other.

ADDED: I called the guy. He took the car and another car on a trade deal, and has had the car for a little while. Car runs and drives, heat works, but the defroster button is stuck so that is will not depress. All the lights work. Tires are fairly old. Has duals with glasspacks. Incorrect wheelcovers. Tagged and titled in the seller's name.

We might do a little horsetrading, we'll have to see.
