Not mine!

1965 Chrysler 300

This is gonna be a great ride for someone, but she needs to go to someone who will love her and wants to spend some time and cash getting her cherried out and that is not me. I don't work on cars, I know where the key goes and where the gas goes and that's about it.
It has had all the basic belts done and all the regular maintenance and average things replaced, some parts were replaced to get it road ready. It runs good, a few things need attention, paint is okay, you're probably going to want to re-do that, tires are good.
$3200, cash only, no trades.

Nice! Shouldn't last long at that price.

I do miss the Pacific Northwest at times like this. Nice ride.

Another good reason to go to Port Townsend.

Has anyone looked at it? I contacted the owner and he sent me some shots of the interior and exterior. Which I see he put up on the add. Maybe I'm wrong but judging by the pic, the door jam looks to have over spray on it. I'm still kicking it around though.

At that price I wouldn't let a little overspray hold me back.

What's with the York A/C compressor? Car appears to have a factory A/C dash.

Don't etch this in concrete because I heard this from a friend of a friend of a friend....

There was the factory OEM A/C and two Factory Approved dealer installed A/C systems.
The first being a York with a knee knocker underdash unit and the second being a York using the factory OEM duct system.

Been meaning to ask this on here to The Best & the Brightest for a confirmation.

Or we're over thinking this and at some point in time the RV2 was replaced with a York. lol

I've seen the AirTemp knee freezer but I thought that the A/C dash was a different die casting than non A/C.

Can't see in the pics if the center vent is there.

That would be the tricky one to retrofit.

You guys think it's worth checking out? I do like the 65s.

Jimmy, I wouldn't have posted if I wasn't at least halfway interested in it myself. I think it's be a great cruiser.

Speaking of deal add-ins, my dad bought a '66 Belvedere II 2-dr hardtop with poly 318, his first new car. He claims it was slated to go to Hawaii and was not fitted with a heater when he test drove it and he had to wait a few days for the dealer to fit one before he picked it up. It always sounded like bunk to me, isn't a heater in every car? It didn't have AC and was a pretty basic build, silver with black bench interior.

Man, you are young.
A typical used car classified used to read:

FOR SALE
1961 Chevy Biscayne. Loaded. PowerGlide, R&H....

Well, I can't help that I was born in 1971. The Plymouth was the family car until the early 80's when my dad got rid of it.

So could you order a 66 Plymouth without a heater or not?

Correct... Heaters were NOT standard in all cars even into '70's.....

So when you see someone saying there car was ordered "radio delete",
basically it was ordered without a radio,, meaning no one checked a radio box..
There was no "radio delete" box...
