I am considering selling my 1965 chyrsler new Yorker. I do not need to get rid of it but I think I want something else.

The car has 98k miles still with the original 413 cu. In. Big block in it. Car runs very well as I have put a new electronic distributor in and put a street demon 750 cfm 4 barrel carburator on it. It has dual flowmaster mufflers on it and it's got a nice sound. The body is in decent shape as there are a few spots of rust but nothing major. The car needs a paint job, the power windows repaired and some interior work done but it's a fun ride and it definitely turns heads. You could restore it or drive it the way it is.

This car has a very stout drivetrain but just needs some tlc to make it something special

I'd want something else after I ruined the car with black paint and a hideous hood scoop....
:BangHead:

I don't want to piss on the guys BBQ ... but... he sealed his fate with his "enhancements".

Guys, I think there is some good news, the scoop looks like a glue-on. So as long as he didn't go and cut any holes, which it doesn't look like he did, then the hood is fine.

Unfortunately, I doubt the hood pins are glue on.

Undortunately, I doubt the hood pins are glue on.

Yeah, you're probably right about that. At least that would be a fairly easy weld up fix. I'm betting that under that hood is a damn mess. On a side note I think Autozone sells glue-on "hood pins", just in case anyone wants to look cool, maybe stick 'em on the windshield:lol:

Have to see it closer-up, but un-doing all those things (that should NEVER happy to ANY New Yorker) would cost more than the $4K....... hope the lister can find a better home for it...........
