I have no personal interest or stake in the eventual sale of this For Sale: 1965 Crown Imperial Limousine by Barrerios,
The 'Seller's Description' is copied verbatim from his advertisement, does not represent my opinion about any aspect of this car or the validity of his description."
The Standard Catalog of American Cars, 1946-1975, edited by John Gunnell states 10 1965 Crown Imperial Limousine by Barrerios (Spain) built.
Note: Chrysler histories state the ten 1965 Crown Imperial Limousines were built by Ghia, after which the tooling was shipped to Barrerios in Spain where ten built as 1966 models. Those interested in purchasing this car should determine which coachbuilder performed the actual construction.

Had a chance to see the car in person and talk to the owner at the Good Guys show in Pleasanton, CA today. Car looks great and he was using it for his limousine service for a time, but he's done with that. Market is slim for a car like this and he says he's not in a hurry, so it may be a available for a bit.

Wonder how the quality of craftmanship compares to the Italian Ghia limousines.

it has been for sale for years, 1st when it was listed for about $45k............................
being a Barreiros it is longer than the Ghia built ones.
Ghia's had folding middle seats that faced forwards, Barreiros cars had middle seats facing the rear
