1965 Imperial Crown Convertible - $12,000 - Lewiston, Maine

FB Description

Extremely rare 1965 Imperial Crown one of only 633 that came out of the exclusive imperial factory in 1965. This one also has the air conditioning package. Car has been in storage for many years so will need a little work to get it on the road as a driver starts drives brakes work top and interior in very good condition.

“that came out of the exclusive imperial factory in 1965.“
Nice looking car.
The dedicated Imperial plant closed in ‘62. All later Imperials were built at Jefferson along with Chryslers, Plymouths and my Monaco in ‘65.

Went to see this car with a buddy a couple days ago. Super nice guy. Wife wanted a convertible so he surprised her with this car, and unsurprisingly she wants something a little smaller, lol. This is a very solid car. Previously owned by a couple of older gentlemen, one of which did a customization/renovation in a non-original color. Was originally Navy blue with blue leather. Leather is in great shape but dyed a different blue. Highly optioned and parts appear to be all there. Top works great and in good shape. Windows work slowly. Heater core bypassed, rear springs weak.
