You don't see all that many NYer 2-door h/t examples though. More Newport and 300 hard tops.

I thought New Yorkers were 413 standard, not 383.

Yep, all 1965 New Yorker's came with 413's.

Nothing............I just cut and pasted what the seller had in the ad. Must of blown up the 413 along the way and put a 383 in it.

The reason it has a 383 and not a 413 is it's NOT a New Yorker. It's a Newport. NY'ers have the glass headlight covers and a different grille.

I'm surprised that as many Ny'er's sold since looking very similiar to the Newport. The Newport was significantly less $$$ than the NY'er which was a lot of money in those days.

The NY "C" pillar was different as well, giving it a much more "formal" look than the sportier tapered pillar on the 300 and Newport.
