They are painted, it's a lot cheaper that way, and it looks it too. In my opinion $5000 too much.

In all honesty, if I were selling BitterSweet online and showed pics of the engine compartment, I too would be torn a new axxhole about it. I am working on it but right now the rusty, bent, old Cal Custom chrome sparkplug wire looms are next to go. A lot of the other crap has been attended to. One by one.
