Chrysler: 300 Series Convertible

SELLER DESCRIPTION

"up for your consideration is this fantastic 66 Chrysler 300 convertible .1 of just 2500 made in 66,first year of the non letter cars .What makes this one even rarer I that it has the center console with factory vacuum gauge.

I purchased this car of a friend of mine who has had it for nearly 10 years,he purchased it of the original owner . He was aircraft retired mechanic and kept the car in excellent mechanical condition the only reason for the sale was for a new project his garage held 4 cars and didn't want to leave this outside .

It recently made a trip to the keys and back from Orlando. It always starts right up ,idles smooth ,no smoke ,no leaks, nothing. It has aftermarket exhaust, that is the only non factory item.it sounds great.I have has all kinds of classics and the amount of thumbs ups and ,conversations I get is incredible.I never planned on selling this one but I just dont have the time to use it I have driven it maybe 4 times 20 miles total in the few months I have had it.

The only thing I going to do was repaint it the paint is showing its age its about 15 years old But it does give it a nice original look .The interior is all original, glass is good. All the power windows work well, motors are newer.

the top works as new,top is newer as well but has a small tear going down,no leaks, looks great.I believe with a new paint job this car is a real show stopper or just a it is its still very special and looks awesome this car can only go up in value as its still a good buy.

also ha a cd player with aux input older speakers, All the interior lights work. The odometer stopped working roughly 2500 miles ago.The title shows actual mile. The top end was redone less than a year ago as well."

Nice 300. I would replace the road wheels with period correct wheel covers.

Stunning! I'd put the chrome road wheels on it. What a beautiful car!!

All Chrome Magnum 500's would look awesome on this.

I'm digging that white full center steering wheel ... is that a correct piece or just an add on or there as a package or something? I know certain cop cars had that, what CHP ones right?

I would have to say that that's a blue wheel, look at some of the other pics. That's a normal 66-300 wheel.

AGreed, my 65 300 vert was a champagne color and had a gold wheel like that (although the interior was black).
And check out that custom consolette I made! My 1st try at curved surfaces.
