WANTED 1966/65 Chrysler ignition bezel nut

Last owner was looking for why the engine did not crank. New relay/starter/ignition switch later and now I have it. Need the retaining nut (chrome) for the ignition switch. I have a bezel coming but the nut will be needed. In Georgia. PS it turned out the problem is with the neutral switch. Cranks fine now. Thanks for looking. fullsize

I found one on ebay with the rest if the ignition bezel and switch. It fits 65 and 66 only (Chrysler only). It has a shallow shoulder on it and 4 radial slots for the key hole light. and four notches for the tool to remove it.

You can see two slots for the light and how shallow the "lip" is.

That looks like it. Any number on it? Wait, no plastic in the four light slots, should be bare.

Here's a switch i took out of a 65. The retainer nut is shallower and only has 2 slots.

Does the two slot and the four slot fit into the bezel?

Yes they both fit.

OK, I just looked at the for sale ad I posted awhile ago for the ignition switch and it originally had the 4 slot retainer on it. Here's the thread with picture. For Sale - Ignition Switch With 2 Keys 65-66 Chrysler

OK what do you want for the four slot bezel nut? I will give it a try.

I don't really want to separate the correct retainer from the switch but I'll sell the complete switch and 2 keys and both retainers for $25 shipped.

Hold on a minute, I still have the dash out of the 65. Let me see if the 2 slot retainer will work.
