Barn Find! 1966 Chrysler 300 Barn find 1966 chrysler 300.
Has 47k miles/383 four barrell/727 auto trans/bucket seats/auto on floor/tach in the console/surface rust in trunk
from what I can see floors look good/backseat was covered and looks new
hasn't been licensed or on the road since 1991.
I was told the reason it was parked is he tried replacing spark plug wires and it wouldn't start after. I have not tried starting it. The motor is NOT seized.
Has all 4 rallye wheels. (One is in trunk).
Have title and paperwork from 1991 when it was bought from a car lot.
This is a very cool piece of mopar history.
$2500. Being sold as is where is as a project. And no I do not have a current emissions.

Doh and I was just in Denver for 5 days...probably couldn't fit anything in my carry-on though....and apparently I need a fender bumper and assorted mouldings now

Not typical Colorado rust, possible it spent time elsewhere and the rust areas on car are peculiar,I.M.O.,but does have desirable options. I have A/C with all mounts and hardware still bolted on to a 69 H.P. in my shop, for potential buyer,if someone is interested in the car,and needs the a/c.

What ? Yer giving up on power vents ?!?
Heck no! They don't have to have power vents for me to "like" them but "own" them is different.
This one is too big a project and too far away etc..

I really like it and I think the price is right.
If you didn't mind it looking a little ugly, that could be a really good project to drive and work on.

If I didn't have something better and if it were in my town, I'd snatch it up and drive it, just as I did Mathilda. I now realize how supernaturally blessed I was when I found Mathilda for just $1400, drover her home and have driven her more or less daily since. Aside from the oil pump scare, nothing stopped my ride for more than 24 hrs. I thank the Lord I scored a Tucson car, all the same. Of course, being an impoverished junky daddy, I HAD to find a drive-able car. Looks like this 300 might be without too much effort. I hope somebody takes it home and starts building it up, as I'm doing with ours.

Agreed, this one would be a perk-up car. Looks solid but needs way too many cosmetics, you'd be WAY upside down on this one being a 383 car. Although the colors and buckets/console are cool.

You can get upside down in a C body project real fast. This would have to be someone that could do some or all of the body and paint work.

its got good parts on it. it will need a bit to get running. the radiator is toast from corrosion but the engine looks solid. some minor trim missing and the left taillight bezel is broken. the left front potmetal fender trim piece is cracked.

i would buy it, but not for more than 2.
