Shouldn't it have a 440 being a 300 car? nice example I like it.

Seems it wouldn't take a whole lot to make it really nice.

I think James put up a chart in another thread that said 66 was the last year that you could get a 383 in a 300. I looked at a 300 a few years ago 2 owner 383, 4 bbl non ac car.

I'm going to say that the asking price is fair and the color combo is stunning on this one.

63 was first year 300 was a model without the letter, letters where on the "real or top of the line" 300 through 65. 1966 and on 300 was just a model

Its about a three hour drive, one way, for me to go see it.

If it were closer, I would probably try to get over there soon. Before its gone.

:eek:ops:Correction for ya...The 300 Letter Cars started in 1955 and ended in 1965. 1965 was the "L" car. The 1966 was supposed to be the "M" car but was dropped at the very last until it came out in the '90's on the new platform. So the 1966 should have been the "M" but wasn't. In 1966 there was the "TNT" package which had the 440 and the tilt/telescoping steering wheel and the floor console shifter with either the Tach or the Vacuum Gauge, front disc brakes and larger 15" wheels and hub caps as an option. Here's a pic of my '66 which is now in FL...

Very nice car you had!

I've heard there was some rumor that a '66 Chrysler 300M was planned, with optional Hemi engine, but it never happened.

Still with a 440 TNT and the other options you mentioned it's no slouch!
