1966 Chrysler 300 Disc Brake Wheel Cover

What color is the inset around the orange center and the background of the words "Disc Brakes"? I can't tell on mine if it is supposed to be flat black or light gray. Thanks!

@RKC - I finally found the picture I have of an NOS wheel cover. As you can see, the deeper part of the wheelcover is a darker argent/grey, and the area around the letters is light argent.
