I purchased this vehicle 1966 Dodge Polara Convertible in Illinois 2 years ago and began restoration to the day it was released from the factory. The restoration process has gone very well and now I would like to sell the car so that I can start on another project. The car is full stock with original parts down to the hubcaps that are in the trunk. All power accessories work except for the factory radio and since purchasing the car, the following has been restored:

1. Complete restoration of the body stripping it down to the bare metal sand blasting, rust, welding new plates as needed and polymer coating on bottom.
2. Pulled original 383 engine and rebuilt it changing all gaskets, seals, filters, thermostat, belts and hoses. Also painted the engine Dodge blue. ( work completed at 47,000 miles)
3. Pulled transmission and rebuilt replacing all seals, gaskets, replace filters and pan. (Work completed at 47,000 miles)
4. Replaced carpeting, sealed trunk and replaced original trunk mat.
5. Replaced convertible top
6. Replaced 14-inch wheel and hub caps with chrome 15-inch rims with 2.5-inch whitewall tires
7. Replaced front and back shocks
8. Replace brakes all around and metal brake lines
9. Replaced both u joints and speedometer cable, inner/outer tie rods, pitman arm, bearing and seals.
10. Installed new Jensen radio (factory radio still in car) with speakers and remote
11. Lastly the car cover goes with the car.

Seats and interior are in immaculate condition for the age with no rips or tears and dash is complete with no chips or damage.

I have all restoration work receipts and work completed is under warranty. This car is a gem now and the heads turn when I drive down the street with the top down and it can be yours for the right price. If interested, please reach out but note the following:

1. I’m not desperate to sell, so no low balling.
2. I’m not taking a wire transfer. Has to be a recognized money order, cashier’s check, funds transfer using cash app or a personal check (but funds will need to be verified from a recognized bank and you the vehicle will not be released until funds are released) or cash which we will need to verify the bills are unique.

3. I’m not shipping the vehicle unless the purchaser pays for it an all I need to do is load the vehicle.

This car is in immaculate condition and runs great for the year and as you can see looks BEAUTIFUL!!
If interested call me and I will get back to you.

The ad will be up until the vehicle is sold
