This one looks very, very clean, and the price isn't all that bad either.

The only criticism I have is the installation of a Flowmaster muffler.

1966 Plymouth Fury vinyl | eBay

Original 1966 Plymouth Fury III Hard Top 318 V8 3 spd on the column, AM radio w/rear speaker, factory fender skirts, vinyl seats, original shiny paint very good. No rust or rust repair, Runs and drives good, manual steering and brakes. Bias ply tires look good but have a lot of age on them. One owner vehicle, garaged and covered. This car is exceptional for its age. Call with questions leave a message.

A friend had one of these, except with a red interior and an automatic tranny. He traded it in on a brand new 1980 powder blue 2 door Dodge Omni 024 (which I thought was a mistake). The red steering wheel cap is like a ruby, just beautiful. All manual, nothing complicated about working in this car. If it was for sale 3 yrs earlier, it would be in my garage. Someone is going to get a nice car.

I was admiring this one the other day also.

Neat (although not terribly desirable) driveline combo of 318 and 3-on-tree.

I noticed there are no pics of the seats or doorpanels, and for some reason light-colored 65-66 Plymouth doorpanels seem to discolor more than the other years/models. So I'd want to see more of hte interior.

Said to be exceptional for its age -- but any 53 years old car is kinda exceptional to simply still exist.

I'm not being critical, I just would want to know more before I plunked for it.

I also wondered if a Gear Vendors OD would attach to a 3spd trans case. If so, a set of 3.55s and a period-style OD switch (like 60s Fords) would put a lot more pep into this one and not be visible. Or mount the switch somewhere convenient and use it as a splitter to have a 6-speed.

Guess he got sick of the low-ballers and had to send a message.

It looks like she is going to be in the garage for another Iowa winter. I have a fully loaded 78 NYer Brougham with 17K miles, power everything with the 440 and working A/C; I would be lucky to get $10,000 on the E-bay market. Nice car, but only one step up from a slant six bare bones car due to the 318. Go see the blue 75 Dodge Royal Monaco Brougham for sale in WA and re-frame the new $10,500 asking price.
