Looked at a 1966 Imperial convertible on Monday but decided to pass, I told the family i would get the word out if someone on here was interested. I have detailed pics I can send, family wants in the upper teens for it but I think is open to offers. Cool story behind the car. A local union in Seattle is the original owner on the certicard. I'm assuming that it was used as a car for the President of the union or something. The car was traded in at SL Savidge in Seattle and the 2nd owner was contacted by a salesman to come down and take a look at it. SL Savidge let him borrow it for the weekend to decide if he wanted it and he fell in love. The family still owns the car but unfortunately the 2nd owner passed away a couple years ago but its really cool its been one family owned since 1968. I think its still original paint with some dings down the sides and lots of touch up. Has some weird rust areas on the top but the bottom is totally rust free. It spend 20 years in Wisconsin in a garage after living in Seattle so the only thing I can think of is the humidity got too it. I took it for a test drive and it runs/drives really nice plus it has new tires. If anyone is interested send me a message, please serious only I don't have time to deal with tire kickers and I'm only trying to help the family. Some of the most beautiful survivors I have ever seen are lifelong Seattle garaged cars so keep that in mind. The car is in Lake Havasu City AZ.
