1966 Imperial Crown hardtop
94,xxx miles, original paint
This car was sitting in a friend's garage since 1978 until I saved it in 2019. I have brought it back to life. From the information I have, I'm the third owner.
Runs and drives nicely. All windows work.
My goal with this car was to make a reliable driver, not necessarily restore it.
Has some dents dings and a couple small areas of rust. Interior is in very good condition. Vinyl top is good with the exception of a small piece missing on the driver side sail panel.
Power steering, brakes, windows(including vent), AM/FM, power antenna, A/C(not hooked up) power driver seat, passenger reclining
440, new rings, bearings, lifters, oil pump, water pump, fuel pump, belts, hoses, urethane motor mounts, etc. Cylinder bores measured .0010" - .0018" wear so I decided to re-ring.
Transmission rebuilt, convertor flushed, new urethane trans mount
New exhaust(Waldron single)
Radiator re-cored by my local shop.
Driveshaft completely serviced, all new u-joints and associated parts, balanced, new center support bearing, and housing rebuilt by damper doctor.
Front door hinge stops/springs replaced
Power brake booster rebuilt by Power brake exchange(Pittsburgh, Pa.) new master cylinder, wheel cylinders rebuilt, new shoes, spring kit, etc.
gas tank professionally cleaned, sealed.
What I think it still needs, shock absorbers, A/C hooked up/ repaired?, windshield washer bottle, driver's seatbelt retractor, passenger seat recline not working. Glove box wood trim needs to be glued back on.
Engine pictures taken before brake booster rebuild.
POSSIBLE trade for the following: Early(62-65) B body drag car, 67-69 A body drag car, complete or roller considered.
I have probably missed describing something. Any questions I will answer. I have many pictures, anything specific needed I will post.
$8000/OFFER
Thanks, Jim
