Fresh 383 engine
4 speed manual
New windshield
All glass included
Extra set of doors
Sunpro tach w/ **** light (factory tach missing)
Needs better wheels and tires
Manual drum brakes, front and rear
No power steering
No A/C

Hood is damaged
Almost ready for paint

If it's almost ready for paint it would turn out just like the light with the tach.
 
Since it's a 4-speed, I wouldn't be surprised if he got something close to what he's asking, especially if engine/trans are date matching original.
 
I understand what you're saying, but dump $8000 more into that car and it would be hard-pressed to be worth $10k. Paint, underhood work, interior - assuming the running gear is perfect, which they rarely are in non-driver cars like this. Easily $8000 required to finish that car. And then how do the bumpers and anodized trim look? There's another $1000 minimum. And on it goes...

And that 'fresh' engine - whomever did that took no pride whatsoever in the appearance of their work, which sometimes suggests the quality underneath, also.

Based on the pics, I think that's a $3500 car at best.
