With hesitation I'm considering selling my first car. This car has been in my family for 3 generations. It was bought new by my grandparents and went through the family until I got it.
It's always been a good car with a powerful engine and fun to drive.

I started the restoration but time has gotten away from me and I'm hoping to find someone else who's interested in picking up where I left off or at least take advantage of the parts that still have life left in them.

The car has been garaged for 40 years, trying to hold off the affects of time. That being said, the first 20 years of Buffalo weather were tough on it.

132K miles, last on the road in 1994
383 V8 with Carter 4BBL carb
3-speed TorqueFlite automatic with only 12K on it
Floor boards replaced and new carpeting installed.
Restoration was stopped mid project so there are a number of boxes of parts that go along with car.
I'm including repair manual and parts catalog.

Additional restoration parts included:
Left front fender from Fury III wagon, cleaned up and primed. ($500 value)
Driver and passenger lower quarter panel 2 door, fittable to 4-door ($600 value)
Wagner front and rear brake drums.

I'm selling it As Is. Sold with bill of sale and NY registration (no title from NY in 1966)
Asking $2,450 OBO, in the Buffalo, NY Area. Bring your own trailer.
Cash or Venmo only

Hi, SilverEagle66: That name and your description of the car and its history speaks volumes to this 86-year-old car guy. To keep my gray cells functioning, I've created a combo VIN/Fender Tag Decoder which I am now expanding to 1966 cars. Thank you for posting a rather problematic fender tag. I guessed at your VIN and created the attached decode report. My decoder is a work in progress for '66 cars, but I'm attaching the partial report anyhow. The problem is I don't know what the 6 under the capital "F" means. I see two unusual knobs on the LH side of the instrument panel. A gray one has a C on it, and must be a choke-type cable to the engine. There is a 436 code that stands for a factory fast idle control--perhaps to warm up a car in cold country?? Then there is a little yellow pull knob which might be an emergency flasher-code 646. Does the car have any of these--and do the rest of the decoded options seem accurate? Any other exotic options? Please ignore the paint and trim codes which I will be working on next. Best wishes for a successful sale in every regard.

Hi Torky: I love your VIN/Fender Tag decoder, thanks for sharing it! Looks like a fun project. You were very close on the VIN. It's PS43G62164036, so you were only off on the assembly plant. I'm attaching the decoder from the service manual and parts catalog. Perhaps it will help with your project. I'm not sure what the capital F is for on the tag, either.
Also, the left knob is a manual choke and the right (yellow) knob is a switch to turn on the rear defroster. Both were after market installs to deal with the cold Buffalo winters.

Hi, Silver: Thanks for your response. I learn something with every tag, especially if I get some feedback. The FSM pages confirmed info I had found elsewhere and I will refine the report to show the "S" in the VIN specifically means VIP if a Plymouth. It is a Special 119" WB car built at a mostly Dodge Plant. Updated report attached. Have a great week.
