Really need to get rid of this vehicle. It's been sitting for years so needs alot of work.

I will have to get a better look at that ! I will be in Brunswick on Friday !

Yes I did..... It is a parts car at best, and not many parts that are "ready to use". The rear window is out , and the rear seat is toast! I took more pics but the tarp across the hood was frozen to the ground, and will most likely need to be cut to free it up = so no grill or under hood pics - but I will post what I have ASAP

What's it got for a motor?
That is a ? I asked the seller, Tom in a text, but he never replied to it. his phone # was in the "reply to ad" tab. I would guess a 383 2bbl. I told him I was interested in it for parts for my 68 ...and after looking at it - there wasn't much for me to use / or needed, but if someone had a 67 Newport it is quite a deal - He is MOTIVATED to get rid of it - I was going to offer $500, just to hoard, but I no room for it at this time !

I know. I have been going back and fourth in my mind about it. Last year I had a chance at a 70 fury vert that made this thing look pretty decent, but thought long enough that it was sold.

Just talked to the owner (thanks MOVE N UP! ). I'm going to see it Sunday unless the storm is too big on Saturday. I will have the VIN tonight, so we can figure out the particulars of the car. Wish me luck!

Great !!I hope you can make that Newport yours !! If not = I may have to rescue it before he does something stupid with it and its gone forever. As you now know, it is in a place that he is trying to clean up, sooooo give him a "less than reasonable" offer that he can't refuse !!LOL

what are your thoughts on these seats? I have not found a photo anywhere of seats that look like this. Also, if you look at the door jams....is that white paint showing thru?

It is white paint, looks like that was the original color. And the seats appear to have been "repaired" by installing the white vinyl over the original vinyl

The interior of that car looks to be in great shape.
Dash pad has small cracks, but nothing real ugly. The rear seat back is half destroyed by the rain /snow coming in from the missing rear window. Other than that - it is complete, and could probably look respectable with a good amount of cleaning

I just got the VIN from Tom.....CE27G73****** so a 383 2bbl economy class. Is there any possibility that anything is different under the hood with that VIN #?
