That's some filtering on those photos! Or is that just Florida light? The top one looks like an ad from 1967!
 
You know, I saw those photos and thought of Stans friend.... then thought of Stans filtering ......may be the same guy.....
 
Yes, that is Lakeland Lash. And look VERY closely at the heater hoses. Very cleverly disguised. They run up to the firewall and then loop back. The heater is bypassed. Didn't want to pay $227 for the unobtanium valve...

I am not looking forward to replacing the water control valve and heater core in my 66" Polara, but it won't fix itself. By the way, I like Commando's color better, and no top.
 
I had to buy a new HVAC control switch and a blower switch today. Another eighty bucks...
I think the former owners were lacking somewhat in mechanical skills.

Stan, Did you ask them why the heater hose was by passed?? Somebody did, and they said in Florida you don't need a heater................ The car has Virginia plates!! I think the people in Va need a heater. They said they would get it fixed before it goes out. Thats funny.
