Not Mine, came up in my Fury search due to damn keywords.
Heard on the collector car shows un-restored Chargers of this year were going for really, really, really stupid money. This is a bargain!

I was just in Turlock last weekend at the swap meet. Browsed over this charger on CL this week too. Seems like a good deal

A friend of my youngest son had two '66 Chargers for sale this summer. One was on a rotisserie with most of the body work done and the other was a good solid parts car. I think they wanted $5k or something like that. There was enough to build one really nice car and one "driver" from the leftovers.

I was tempted, as I always wanted one, but I decided no more big projects for me.

Many years ago, my late friend Dave had a 66 Charger with a hemi that he acquired in a car deal. He did a lot of mechanical work on it after he got it. It was a long story, but he had to find a place for it while the dust settled on his divorce, so it ended up in my driveway. I could have bought the car for $4,000. The car was almost perfect... Super clean and everything worked on it. The car was the best running hemi car I've ever driven or been in. All of Dave's cars ran like that. It sat there for two months until he could take it home and he sold it almost immediately for a lot more money than our deal would have been.

At the time, $4K might as well been a $4 million and there was no way I could swing it.

It ended up in Rochester, NY and I saw the owner a few years ago and he told me he still had the car.

That's after you put $50k+ in it.

Yea I guess your right, just did a 'SOLD' search on eekBay all green mid 4k to 23k, quite a few in varying states.

But don't tell that to the Big 3 car show yappers...
(Think IIRC it was on 'Whats Your Car Worth' show I heard that). Guys there are off the wall IMO.

That featured car doesn't have the original front seats in it at all. Not even close.

No title, wrong engine and seats...This is a $1,500 "I'll get to it one day" car. Period.

That's probably because whomever said that on that auction show, bought a POS for too much money, so now he talks it up to recoup his $$$.
