Chrysler: Imperial Crown Coupe | eBay

This car was featured a few years ago in Popular Hot Rodding magazine. Then showed up for sale on Louisiana Craigslist for around 11k if I remember correctly. Disappeared from Craigslist about 2 months ago. Appeared to be nice when it was on Craigslist, unfortunately the Craigslist ad was not very descriptive and the car sat there for quite awhile. So the dealer (flipper) probably snagged it for well under the asking price.

I have no issue with an individual or dealer buying a car, applying some elbow grease and money and turning a profit, but based on the condition of the car when it appeared in the mag, versus the pictures of today, I would say that there was no value added by the dealer.

I watched this car for several months as it sat on Craigslist. Evrytime I looked at it, I got the doe-eyes, and would blink slowly as I dreamily thought of what could have been.....

Beautiful car. I will say for 22,000.00 bucks it isn't cheap ,but compared to alot of other stuff that is more popular it is cheap. Even at this price ,the price per pound is still a great deal compared to a Nova.
I wonder if anyone has done that? A dollar per pound value of different cars......

Isn't that just beautiful? MAN!! If I owned that car I frankly would be very hesitant to drive it. I would be the guard for the next owner and if still coherent would then be glad it is gone. Too much responsibility at least for me. That should be in a museum..
