I spent a little time scrubbing some of the chrome interior trim in my 67, mainly the A pillar dressing and part of the strip that runs over the window. All of it cleaned up nicely and wont need much work to be reusable. The chrome around the inside of the back window is a different story, particularly the passenger side lower corner.. it's obviously seen a lot of moisture.... which leads to another question; the package tray is made of a square perforated metal (I wouldn't guess that the hole dimensions are less than 1/16" x 1/16"). It too has seen moisture compounded by mouse nesting and installation of a third brake light at some point.

Would anyone know if this trim set and package tray is compatible with any other 67 models or will I be looking specifically for another 67 Monaco 500 part? The package tray I'm less concerned with as I can likely find a similar perforated metal, cut it to shape and paint it accordingly.

Let me know what you think and thanks!

I have to dig through my pile of chrome but I believe I MIGHT have another chrome surround for the backlight.

These are 4 parts I can't identify though I assume they're for the window somewhere.

I suspect that the roof dimensions were not specific to just the Monaco 500 models, BUT the chrome plating might?

I also suspect that it was a thinner layer of "chrome" than what you'd see on the exterior chrome items, too.

I actually have no idea what those are. Crappy picture but:

The parts around the top and sides are two pieces that join at the center top of the window. The part around the bottom is one piece. At the bottom corners of either side are two pieces and the one on the left is the skuzziest.

The 67 300's had the chrome treatment as well... not sure of other models but I'm pretty sure those were the two for 67. Everything went to paint for 68.

It's definitely thinner but good enough for its intended job. It's just that that area in the back generally saw more condensation as it would run off the rear window.

Gav, there was a guy on ebay that had package trays for 67's (not for 69's like I need :() that I contacted. Let me see if I can find the link...
