1967 Chrysler new Yorker, 440 v8 automatic, 20" boss wheels and tires,car has been completely gone through underneath and needs nothing. $5000 Rockford fosgate sound system just installed. Car is from Pennsylvania and extremely clean underneath and body wise. Paint is good and top is new. Rear seat has one small tear in the seat but not noticeable otherwise the black interior is perfect. I have well over $20,000 invested in the last year. Very unique car, no trades please

Is a $5000 sound system all that? Isn't there a point where no matter what you spend it just really isn't that much better?

No. The sound system MUST make your ears bleed and annoy people within a 1/2-mile radius of the vehicle.

He has perhaps $6500 in the wheels and tires, and $5K in the noisemaking system, all wrapped up in a $5K car. So, he's trying very hard to extract every penny he has in the car and then some, in a car he has personalized to the point where only a handful of people might even be remotely interested.
