For sale, the Jolly Roger, a 1967 Polara 4 door, 383, auto, done up in a pirate theme. Car is done as a budget '60s style mild custom. Has a set of vintage slot (not the 5 spokes shown in the pic) mags, blue painted brake drums. White with a blue top and 2-tone blue interior. The top was painted a blue pearl with white pearl in the first 2 coats of clear. The sail panels have 'lace' style custom paint but it has skulls and crossbones instead of flowers. Pipe organ rear speaker covers, twin antennas, skull shifter knob, skull outline rear view mirror, skull outline front license plate surround, skull theme seat covers, and a skull hood ornament. Also has a 'cal custom' mini steering wheel.
It's been my summer beater and I've driven it everywhere I've wanted to go, but it recently developed a miss that I'm afraid may be a valve. I just had new valve seals put in it and it was running smooth before. I also recently had new lower ball joints and an alignment, all 4 new wheel cylinders and brakes, and a new master cylinder. It has air shocks on the back and a nice sounding dual exhaust system. The body has a couple of small dents and there has been some rust repaired on the lower rear quarters. The floors and trunk are really good, and it's clean under the hood. The car is not a show car but it's a lot of fun, the kids love the pirate theme, and you can let them sit in it or lean over the door to look inside and not worry about them scratching something. I'd like $2000 but am willing to listen to reasonable offers or interesting trades. I will also take less if I can keep the vintage mags that are currently on it. I can email more pics if anyone is interested.
Thanks for looking,
Dallas

It's been a crazy busy summer and I haven't had any time to devote to this car. I haven't been driving it due to the miss but it starts right up every time I go to it. I'm including another pic of it with different wheels but it will have a set of chrome wheels with baby moons on it as soon as I get them changed.
I'll drop the price to $1500 to see if there's any interest. I probably spent at least half of that on the front end and brakes. It drives really nice down the road. If it hadn't developed the miss I was going to paint the lower body 'hot rod black' to complete the look and keep on driving it.
Thanks for looking,
Dallas
