1968 Chrysler 300 sporting original paint. ROCK SOLID body. 440-4V, Auto, Sure Grip. Hughes cam, lifters springs, valve seals, rebuilt alternator, 3 bolt timing chain double roller, water pump, new gaskets, re- cored radiator, new heater core.
This is a very powerful and solid cruiser and if you want a C-body this one-year-only body style is sure to turn heads. It's a very fun car to drive, and needs nothing to be road-worthy. Frankly this is one of the nicest ones out there still with original paint. And it has been gone through THOROUGHLY to ensure the ride and ability to go and stop is top notch.
In addition to the above it has had the following done:
• Radio fixed -- AM-FM -- single speaker with rare seek function
• New front arm rests and door plates
• New headliner
• New carpet set
• Completely redone front suspension including all bushings and control arms
• New shocks all around
• Rebuilt carb
• New brakes and wheel bearings
• Washer Pump and Gaskets
• Washer Bottle
• New exhaust from manifold to muffler and muffler to tailpipe (sounds awesome but not too loud)
• New old stock front bumper -- amazing shine (I have original)
• New old stock b-pillar caps
• New old stock steering wheel (I have original)
Areas that need attention:
• Paint is original so it has dings and scratches. The front drivers side fender was hit at one point but it does not detract from the look of the car and could be fixed
• Interior is used -- driver and passenger seat wear -- splitting, but not falling apart and some splits in the rear seats
• Two front door panels, raised vinyl inserts are pulled apart and have been stapled back to door card -- but rest of panels are great shape
