Interesting. I have seen 2 or 3 67's with the option, but never a 68. I had thought it was a 67 only option. I wonder if it was available on convertibles.

Yeah this is a rerun but I don't mind seeing it again.

There is more than one commander on United States Air Force bases and the only car that had a white top was the wing commanders car. This was because in the case of an attack on the base, our troops would know to look for the car with the white top knowing that the wing commander was in it.
His lips are moving...

I must say I do love the color of it !

I am contemplating maybe painting my Sport Fury that color blue !!! Hmmmm :eusa_think:

Anybody want to guess what it'll take to repair that subframe rot?

Base, Division, and Wing commanders ALL have blue cars with white tops on them
, not just the base commander. There is also a placard on the front bumper that shows the rank and the unit.

It means that anyone who can say that without wincing can sell horse manure to the Ritz Carlton as Filet Mignon...

Thanks, I just didn't understand why that tidbit would add value to the car...

It wasn't so much his error as it was his use of smoke and mirrors to divert your attention from the actual object.
Amusing you with a song and a dance rather talk specifics on the car's condition.
An old salesman's trick.
How do you know when a salesman is lying? His lips are moving.

I agree...And I'm glad I saw these pics. That's pretty much the same blue I'm getting on my NYB as we speak. Starlight Blue Sunfire Metallic. Mines got a white vinyl roof with powder blue leather. Can't wait to get it.

In answer to the sub/stub frame repair? You have to drop it and stick a good rust free one in which would assist in complimenting the rest of the condition of the car..

I have a bit of experience doing this as do some other members here :D
