They could kept their fingers out of the engine compartment. Doesn't look too bad. A lot of cleaning ahead of the next owner.

I know it's a small thing but it's something you have to constantly see if you own the car.
It was one of the things I didn't like much about my 68 Monaco which had a two spoke with a half horn ring and this generic plastic coated foam center. The 67s had this super deep three spoke job with a nice chrome center and the fratzog set in a nice jewel. Not the safest thing to have in front of you in the case of a collision but somehow I don't think that big doughnut would be doing any great service either.
I do love that 68 dash though.
