I saw this posted on FB and wanted to share with FCBO....

1968 Dodge Charger Assembly line.....pretty cool!

I bet that was a cool place to work.....especially driving them off the line.
 
This car could be same car earlier on the line

. Close to the same configuration as mine, big block, A/C, low po exhaust manifolds and looks to be 10" front drum
 
Yes, AKA Hamtramck based on the pillars, windows and Barracuda behind it.
Isn't it curious to see two totally different models of cars on the same line from two different branches, Dodge and Plymouth.
 
Dodge Main. Trim & Final were on 2nd or 3rd floor. Drove vehicles down a ramp to a Final Inspection Building outside. We pick-up my brother's '68 Charger right at the plant Oct. '67. He nearly had a heart attack when his car came off the line with wws & hubcaps. They ran it back thru the Inspection Building to swap the wheels and tires out for the redlines and Road Wheels he ordered.
I worked there summer '73 building E-Bodies and 2dr A-Bodies. Summer help worked a different job every night.
